Overview

This course delves into the entrepreneurship field from both a micro and macro perspective. The course content is clustered into four major subjects. Starting with a theoretical framework evolution and then focusing on key success factors for launching a business, followed by cultural and institutional differences across borders, and the different approaches to venturing globally.

This  course will guide learners as they experience the innovation process, and how new products and services can create value for a market niche.  This course will also navigate across the divergent characteristics of international entrepreneurial ecosystems and those challenges faced by entrepreneurs around the globe. A series of case studies and articles will take students on a journey across Latin America, Africa and China, where companies and entrepreneurs aim to lead in industries such as technology, fashion, finance and agriculture.
