Innovative program at Thunderbird transforms students into case writing experts

Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State University recently launched an innovative program to empower students to co-create with professors and learn more about the art of effective case writing.

Launched by Mary Teagarden, deputy dean of Thunderbird Knowledge Enterprise and professor of global strategy and Euvin Naidoo, distinguished professor of practice in global accounting, risk and agility at Thunderbird, the Summer Case Writing program is serving as a catalyst for students to collaborate with professors through an in-depth immersion into the art and science of case writing. Now in its second year, the program emphasizes the importance of storytelling as a vital skill for management leaders, teaching students the nuances of effective communication.

ASU institute hosts Palestinian delegation visit from An-Najah National University

The Institute for Humanities Research at ASU hosted Palestinian faculty from An-Najah National University May 23–27.

The visit was facilitated by a $60,000 grant, “Entrepreneurship Education for the Humanities and Social Sciences," submitted by Jeffrey Cohen, dean of humanities at The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. The grant is part of the Institute of International Education's Sustainable U.S.-Palestinian Higher Education Partnerships (SUPHEP) program.

ASU Thunderbird school launches 100 million learners global initiative

Arizona State University’s Thunderbird School of Global Management (Thunderbird), home of the world’s No. 1 ranked Master’s in Management, ranked No.1 for innovation in the U.S., today announced that its transformative new global initiative will be available to learners in Africa through the school’s Nairobi Center of Excellence. Launched in Phoenix earlier this year, the Global Initiative is designed to educate and empower 100 million learners by 2030.

ASU Thunderbird School of Global Management brings ‘100 Million Learners Global Initiative’ to Dubai

Arizona State University’s (ASU) Thunderbird School of Global Management (Thunderbird), announced that its global initiative to educate and empower 100 million learners by 2030 will be available to learners in the Middle East. Under the initiative, Thunderbird will offer an online Global Management and Entrepreneurship Certificate, consisting of five world-class courses in 40 different languages, including Arabic. The certificate will be covered by full scholarships and thus will be made available at no cost to learners due to a historic $25 million donation from the Francis and Dionne Najafi Global Initiative...
