Overview

This course provides the basic concepts of management with particular emphasis on the functions of management in a global environment. This course examines the antecedents of globalization; the role of global environments in shaping organization structure, strategy and processes,as well as the basic principles of managing in complex cross-cultural settings. This course will also emphasize global institutional arrangements and macroeconomic issues. Finally, this course applies global business concepts in understanding global political economics, legal systems and socio-cultural environments.
