Xie is an assistant professor of marketing. She received her PhD in marketing from the University of Florida in 2021. Her current research focuses on digital marketing (digital pricing, online reputation management), consumer choice and expectation, reselling and sustainability. Her primary research methodology includes econometrics, analytical modeling and lab experiments. She also holds a bachelor's degree in psychology, and a bachelor and a master's degree in economics, from Peking University, China.
