The Thunderbird Online Executive Certificate in Global Finance is led by Thunderbird Professor Lena Booth, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Finance in the Department of Global Business at Thunderbird School of Global Management, where she teaches Corporate Finance, Global Financial Management, and Advanced Topics in Finance such as Global Private Equity. She served as the first Executive Director of the Thunderbird Private Equity Center. Born in Malaysia and educated in Singapore and the U.S., Dr. Booth speaks and writes English, Chinese, and Malay, and speaks a few Chinese dialects.
Dr. Booth's teaching and research interests have taken her all around the world. She travels frequently to many cities in the United States, Canada, Asia and Europe. She has presented her research and taught executives in France, Switzerland, Ireland, Italy, Czech Republic, China, Hong Kong, Taipei, Korea, Japan, Singapore and Malaysia.
