Thunderbird’s Executive Master of Global Management Ranked #15 in the World

EMGM ranked #1 in Global Experience and #3 in Prestige among EMBA programs in the US West

According to a new ranking of Executive MBA programs worldwide, Thunderbird School of Global Management’s Executive Master of Global Management program comes in at #15 in’s2017 Best Executive MBA Programs” rankings, ahead of schools like Oxford, Yale and MIT.

Along with its #15 worldwide ranking, Thunderbird’s Executive MGM also ranked #1 for Global Experience, #3 for Prestige, #6 for Career Advancement and Curriculum, and #4 overall among Executive MBA programs in the US West region.

“While the [Thunderbird] program came in fourth in the region overall, the school’s global experience came in first. And it’s no surprise: half of the cohort is made up of international students,” notes. Plus, their research showed that Thunderbird Executive MGM grads can “expect an average 45% salary boost after graduation.”

Founded by a team of Columbia Business School alumni, is an online professional network of more than 800,000 executive members. The site surveyed over 5,000 professionals from its community to learn about EMBA programs executives should consider.

“To see our Executive Master of Global Management fare so competitively in a ranking of more traditional Executive MBA programs is outstanding,” says Allen Morrison, Ph.D., Thunderbird CEO and Director General. “Our Executive MGM is a specialized degree focused exclusively on the nuances of leadership and management on a global scale. It’s more than an MBA—and and others are taking notice.”

Thunderbird, a unit of the Arizona State University Knowledge Enterprise, delivers the Executive MGM program via classroom sessions on alternate weekends on campus and regional study tours around the globe.
